About this course.

This is the Edexcel International GCSE Physics course, written against specification 4PH1 and built around the papers themselves.

Every question in the bank came out of a real 4PH1 paper. Multiple choice is marked the moment you answer, and each option you could have chosen carries a sentence on what a student who picked it most likely did. Written questions reveal the actual mark scheme so you can tick what you earned, point by point, the way an examiner would.

The lessons arrive chapter by chapter on the dates listed under Inside the course. The question bank, the past papers and the exam desk are open from the day you enrol.

Before you decide

Is this just videos my child will watch and forget?

No. A lesson is one step of six. After it comes a check with every option explained, then drilling on that topic across every paper we hold, then the paper itself on the clock, and finally a revisit list built from what they told us they still do not understand. Watching is the part that starts it, not the part that finishes it.

Is there any practical work, or only theory?

Where a topic has a simulation, it sits on that chapter and your child can change the numbers and watch the physics answer back. The one below is terminal velocity: change the mass and the drag and see where the speed settles. We do not pretend this replaces a laboratory, and the paper that is sat in one is not part of this course.

How do we know whether it is actually working?

Every paper your child sits carries a light. Green means everything correct. Yellow means mistakes, which the explanations are there to fix. Red is the one they set themselves: after reading why an answer was wrong, they can say it still does not make sense, and that topic stays on their revisit list until they clear it. Red is not a bad score. It is the thing nobody else in the house would have known to ask about.

My child already has a tutor. Why this as well?

A tutor gives two hours a week. This is the other hundred and sixty-six: the whole question bank, open at any hour, marking itself and explaining as it goes. Most families here use both, and the revisit list is a good thing to hand the tutor at the start of a session.

Questions parents ask.

Which papers are actually in the question bank?

Paper 1 and Paper 2 of specification 4PH1, from the 2019 sittings through to October/November 2024, including the R variants. The list under Inside the course shows how many questions sit under each syllabus section. It grows as we work through the rest.

When do the lessons for each chapter open?

Each chapter carries its own date under Inside the course, and the card changes to say the lessons are open on the day they are. The question bank, the past papers and the exam desk do not wait for any of that: they are open from the day you enrol.

How long does access last?

Until the end of the exam window for the sitting you pick, plus a month. The exact date is printed against each sitting under Sittings and prices, before you pay.

Can I try it before paying?
