About

About this course.

This is the Cambridge O Level Additional Mathematics course, written against syllabus 4037 for the 2025, 2026 and 2027 examinations. Since 2025, Paper 1 has been sat without a calculator, so the methods are taught by hand.

It follows the syllabus in Cambridge's own order, all 14 topics: functions; quadratic functions; factors of polynomials; equations, inequalities and graphs; simultaneous equations; logarithmic and exponential functions; straight-line graphs; coordinate geometry of the circle; circular measure; trigonometry; permutations and combinations; series; vectors in two dimensions; and calculus. Each topic is taught, then checked, so a gap shows up before the exam.

It prepares you for both papers, each 2 hours and 80 marks: Paper 1, taken without a calculator, and Paper 2, with one. Cambridge mark schemes give method marks for correct working, so the working is taught as carefully as the answer.

The course is recorded: there are no live classes and no messaging a teacher.

Access runs to the date printed against your sitting.

Outcomes

What this course leaves you with.

What you’ll be able to do

  1. Solve modulus, quadratic and cubic equations and inequalities, by algebra or from a sketch

  2. Use the laws of logarithms and turn a relationship into straight-line form to find constants

  3. Solve trigonometric equations in a given range and prove identities line by line

  4. Choose between permutations and combinations, and use the binomial theorem and progressions

  5. Differentiate and integrate the standard functions, for tangents, stationary points and areas

  6. Work Paper 1 without a calculator and Paper 2 with one, each in two hours

Before you decide

01

Is this just videos my child will watch and forget?

No. Each topic ends with a short check, marked as your child answers, so a gap shows up before the next topic rather than in the exam. Watching starts the work. The check is where you find out whether it stuck.

02

Is it only practice, or is the method taught?

The method is taught. Each of the 14 syllabus topics, from functions, quadratics and logarithms to trigonometry, series, vectors and calculus, is taught in Cambridge's order, with the working written out line by line. Cambridge mark schemes give method marks for correct working even when the final answer is wrong, so how the working is set out matters as much as the answer. Paper 1 is taken without a calculator, so the methods are shown by hand.

03

How do we know whether it is actually working?

Sit with your child and open their account. It shows each topic of the syllabus, how many of its lessons your child has finished, and what is still to do. Ask them to talk you through the check at the end of the last topic they finished. If they cannot explain the working, that topic is the one to take to a teacher or tutor.

04

My child already has a tutor. Why this as well?

Keep the tutor. A tutor has a few hours a week. This is open at every other hour: each topic of the syllabus, taught in the order of the 4037 syllabus, with a short check at the end of each topic. The topics your child found hard in the checks are the thing to bring to the next session.

05

What exactly are we paying for, and what if it does not suit us?

A place on the course for the sitting you choose, with access to the date printed against it. That one payment is the whole cost; there are no further charges. The course is open from 10 January 2027, and lessons are added section by section, so you can see which sections are open before the refund window closes. Seven days from the day you pay, the full amount back, no questions asked. If you pay before the course opens on 10 January 2027, you can have the full amount back until 17 January 2027. Ask from your Account page, or email support@eudikalearn.com. Pay with bKash, Nagad, Rocket or a card.

Every lesson is guided by patience, clarity and excellence, with a focus on building strong mathematical understanding, developing problem-solving skills, and helping every student learn confidently and achieve their full potential.

Rashin Shareef has taught mathematics privately since 2011, specialising in O Level, IGCSE, IB and Cambridge International mathematics, including Cambridge O Level Mathematics (4024) and Additional Mathematics (4037) and Pearson Edexcel International GCSE Mathematics B (4MB1). He has worked with students of different abilities and learning styles, building a strong foundation and preparing them for school and Cambridge examinations, with the focus on understanding rather than memorised procedures. His teaching is patient, structured and student-centred. He breaks hard topics into manageable steps and encourages students to explain their reasoning, not just give an answer. After each concept come targeted practice, past-paper questions and exam-style problems. He goes through mistakes carefully, so a student understands what went wrong, why, and how not to repeat it. For the exam, he works on time management, setting out working, choosing the right method, and reading mark schemes and common question patterns. His aim is to make mathematics less intimidating and more logical. Whether a student needs to strengthen the basics or is aiming for higher grades, the lessons are fitted to their needs and pace.

FAQ

Questions parents ask.

Is this the right course for my syllabus code?

This is Cambridge O Level Additional Mathematics, syllabus 4037. Check the code on the statement of entry. Cambridge IGCSE Additional Mathematics (0606) and Edexcel International GCSE Further Pure Mathematics (4PM1) are different qualifications with different papers.

Which version of the syllabus does this follow?

The course is written against the 4037 syllabus for 2025 to 2027, which your exam is set on in 2027. Exams in 2028 use Cambridge's syllabus for 2028 to 2030, which keeps the same two papers: one without a calculator and one with.

Is there past-paper practice?

Only a little so far. A few past-paper questions from 4037 papers are in the bank, and many more are under review before they go into the course, so this page shows no question count. 4037 papers set before 2025 allowed a calculator on Paper 1, so an older Paper 1 is not a guide to the non-calculator paper. Until the bank is deeper, the course is the lessons and the checks at the end of each topic.

How long does access last?

Until the date printed against each sitting under Choose your plan, which falls after the exam for that sitting. You see the date before you pay.

Is there a live teacher?

No. The course is recorded, with no live classes and no messaging a teacher. The checks show where you are unsure; they do not answer questions. If you need someone to explain, keep a teacher or tutor for that.

What if it is not right for us?

Seven days from the day you pay, the full amount back, no questions asked. If you pay before the course opens on 10 January 2027, you can have the full amount back until 17 January 2027. Ask from your Account page, or email support@eudikalearn.com. Pay with bKash, Nagad, Rocket or a card.
