About

About this course.

This is the Cambridge O Level Accounting course, written for the new syllabus 7707, examined from May/June 2027 and in 2028 and 2029.

It follows the syllabus in Cambridge's own order: the fundamentals of accounting; sources and recording of data; verification of accounting records; accounting procedures; preparation of financial statements for sole traders, partnerships, limited companies, manufacturers, clubs and incomplete records; analysis and interpretation; and accounting concepts, ethics, technology and sustainability. Each section is taught, then checked, so a gap shows up before the exam.

It prepares you for both papers: Paper 1, 40 multiple-choice questions, and Paper 2, five structured questions of 20 marks each built on stimulus material.

The course is recorded: there are no live classes and no messaging a teacher.

Access runs to the date printed against your sitting.

Outcomes

What this course leaves you with.

What you’ll be able to do

  1. Post transactions from the books of prime entry to the ledger and balance the accounts

  2. Prepare a trial balance, and correct errors with journal entries and a suspense account

  3. Prepare bank reconciliation statements and sales and purchases ledger control accounts

  4. Prepare financial statements for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies

  5. Calculate the ratios the syllabus lists, then comment on them and suggest improvements

  6. Apply the accounting concepts and adjustments: depreciation, accruals, prepayments, bad debts

Before you decide

01

Is this just videos my child will watch and forget?

No. Each section ends with a short check, marked as your child answers, so a gap shows up before the next section rather than in the exam. Watching starts the work. The check is where you find out whether it stuck.

02

Accounting is layouts and numbers. Is it only theory?

No. Much of the 7707 syllabus is preparing things: ledger accounts, books of prime entry, trial balances, bank reconciliations, control accounts, and the financial statements of sole traders, partnerships, limited companies, manufacturers and clubs. The course teaches each in the syllabus's order. Paper 2 asks for them in full: five compulsory questions of 20 marks each, built on stimulus material.

03

How do we know whether it is actually working?

Sit with your child and open their account. It shows each section of the syllabus, how many of its lessons your child has finished, and what is still to do. Ask them to talk you through the check at the end of the last section they finished. If they cannot explain the working, that section is the one to take to a teacher or tutor.

04

My child already has a tutor. Why this as well?

Keep the tutor. A tutor has a few hours a week. This is open at every other hour: each section of the syllabus, taught in the order of the 7707 syllabus, with a short check at the end of each section. The sections your child found hard in the checks are the thing to bring to the next session.

05

What exactly are we paying for, and what if it does not suit us?

A place on the course for the sitting you choose, with access to the date printed against it. That one payment is the whole cost; there are no further charges. The course is open from 10 January 2027, and lessons are added section by section, so you can see which sections are open before the refund window closes. Seven days from the day you pay, the full amount back, no questions asked. If you pay before the course opens on 10 January 2027, you can have the full amount back until 17 January 2027. Ask from your Account page, or email support@eudikalearn.com. Pay with bKash, Nagad, Rocket or a card.

Every accounting answer is structured to match mark-scheme requirements, with clear workings, correct formats and precise explanations, so students know exactly where each mark comes from.

Siam al Aqil has taught Accounting in Dhaka since 2015, specialising in Cambridge O Level Accounting (7707), Pearson Edexcel International GCSE Accounting (4AC1) and Edexcel International A Level Accounting. The teaching rests on one principle: Accounting should be understood, not memorised. Complex topics are broken into clear, logical steps, alongside exam technique, problem-solving and mark-scheme awareness, so students understand what each question requires and write answers that secure the available marks. Specialist areas: double-entry bookkeeping; financial statements and adjustments; accounting principles; ratios and financial analysis; costing and decision-making; past-paper practice and examination technique; mark-scheme-focused answer writing.

  • The accounting cycle and double-entry bookkeeping

Source documents, books of prime entry, ledger accounts and the trial balance for Cambridge O Level Accounting 7707, with the logic behind every debit and credit rather than rules to memorise.

FAQ

Questions parents ask.

Is this the right course for my syllabus code?

This is Cambridge O Level Accounting, syllabus 7707. Check the code on the statement of entry. Cambridge IGCSE Accounting (0452) and Edexcel International GCSE Accounting (4AC1) are different qualifications with different papers.

The syllabus changes for 2027. Which one does this follow?

The 7707 syllabus for 2027, 2028 and 2029, the one your exam is set on from May/June 2027. It includes sections on ethical considerations and on technology and sustainability. Past papers from 2026 and earlier were set on the syllabus before it.

Is there past-paper practice?

Only a little so far. The 2027 syllabus is new, so the only papers set on it so far are Cambridge's specimen papers. The bank holds a few past-paper questions from the 2025 papers, set on the syllabus before it, and more are under review, so this page shows no question count. Until the bank is deeper, the course is the lessons and the checks at the end of each section.

How long does access last?

Until the date printed against each sitting under Choose your plan, which falls after the exam for that sitting. You see the date before you pay.

Is there a live teacher?

No. The course is recorded, with no live classes and no messaging a teacher. The checks show where you are unsure; they do not answer questions. If you need someone to explain, keep a teacher or tutor for that.

What if it is not right for us?

Seven days from the day you pay, the full amount back, no questions asked. If you pay before the course opens on 10 January 2027, you can have the full amount back until 17 January 2027. Ask from your Account page, or email support@eudikalearn.com. Pay with bKash, Nagad, Rocket or a card.
