The teacher

Who teaches Additional Mathematics.

  • Rashin Shareef

    Rashin Shareef

    Mathematics · 15 years

Mathematics tutor since 2011 across Cambridge O Level, IGCSE, Edexcel International GCSE, A Level and IB. Makes maths simple and logical, with clear explanation, past-paper practice and careful review of mistakes.

    • Teaching mathematics privately since 2011
    • Teaching Cambridge O Level Mathematics (4024) and Additional Mathematics (4037)
    • Teaching Cambridge IGCSE Mathematics (0580)
    More about Rashin

Rashin Shareef has taught mathematics privately since 2011, specialising in O Level, IGCSE, IB and Cambridge International mathematics, including Cambridge O Level Mathematics (4024) and Additional Mathematics (4037), and Pearson Edexcel International GCSE Mathematics B (4MB1) and Further Pure Mathematics (4PM1). He has worked with students of different abilities and learning styles, building a strong foundation and preparing them for school and Cambridge examinations, with the focus on understanding rather than memorised procedures. His teaching is patient, structured and student-centred. He breaks hard topics into manageable steps and encourages students to explain their reasoning, not just give an answer. After each concept come targeted practice, past-paper questions and exam-style problems. He goes through mistakes carefully, so a student understands what went wrong, why, and how not to repeat it. For the exam, he works on time management, setting out working, choosing the right method, and reading mark schemes and common question patterns. His aim is to make mathematics less intimidating and more logical. Whether a student needs to strengthen the basics or is aiming for higher grades, the lessons are fitted to their needs and pace.

What the fee covers

One fee, three things.

  1. Live classes with the teacher

On Google Meet, in a batch of 30 at most, with the same teacher every class. Questions are asked and answered in the class itself.

  2. The recorded course for the subject

Every topic on video, open while the fee is paid, for the lesson you missed or the chapter that did not stick.

  3. The past-paper bank

Real past-paper questions by topic, and whole papers on the real clock, each with its mark scheme.

This batch

BDT 3,000 a month

4 monthly fees, Jan to Apr: BDT 12,000 in all.

  • The first three classes are free. After them, one fee for each calendar month, the first month charged in full.
  • Paid by bKash, with the screenshot uploaded in your account.
  • A month’s fee, once paid, is not refunded. To stop, tell us before the next month starts and nothing more is due.

Questions

What parents ask before booking.

What if my child misses a class?

Ask the teacher at the start of the next class, and watch that topic in the recorded course, which is open while the fee is paid. When the teacher adds a recording of the class, it appears in My classes.

How does payment work, and what if we pay late?

After the free classes, one fee per subject for each calendar month, paid by bKash; upload the payment screenshot in your account and we record it. If a month is still unpaid after the 6th, the place is paused, not lost, and reopens when the payment is recorded. A month’s fee, once paid, is not refunded: the free classes are the time to decide.

Can we join after the batch has started?

Yes, while it has seats. The free classes are the batch’s first three dates, so a student who joins later starts on the monthly fee for that month, and catches up on earlier topics in the recorded course.

What device and app do we need?

A phone, tablet or laptop with a normal mobile data connection, and the Google Meet app or a browser. The class link opens in My classes fifteen minutes before each class.

Can we switch batches, or stop?

Yes, at the end of a month. To switch, the other batch needs a free seat; to stop, tell us before the new month starts and no further fee is due. Message us on WhatsApp for either.

The first three classes are free. Then decide.

Sit them as a full member of the batch, meet the teacher, and pay only if you stay.
